Green Space Set-Up and Unwined | Friday, May 23rd
Help us bring the downtown “green space” to life by setting up seating, planting flowers, and stringing lights in the lot behind Unwined. Afterward, “Unwined” with a special drink and good company on the patio to celebrate a job well done.
Outdoor Fitness with Matt – Certified Personal Trainer | Every Monday
HIIT: High-intensity interval training experience designed to build strength, endurance, and agility in the fresh air. Using bodyweight exercises, functional movements, and minimal equipment, each session keeps you moving with explosive bursts and active recovery.
Rucksack Walk: A low-impact but challenging way to build endurance, strength, and mental toughness. Carrying a weighted pack, we’ll trek through scenic trails, improving cardio, core stability, and resilience with every step.
MURPH Workout: A challenging fitness event performed on Memorial Day to honor Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, killed in Afghanistan in 2005.

Join us at Joe’s Flat Iron Café for an evening of fly tying, drinks, and conversation during Bugs and Brews. Whether you’re an experienced angler or just curious, come learn the art of tying flies while enjoying a beverage in great company.
Community Bike Ride | Thursday, May 15th
Meet us at the Basecamp Gear Library for a casual group ride through Skowhegan, exploring the Debe Trail and nearby neighborhoods. This ride is open to all ages and abilities—just bring your bike or borrow one from Basecamp!
Fix-a-Bike Maintenance Workshop | Tuesday, May 20th
This hands-on workshop will teach you how to perform basic bicycle repairs & tune-ups and answer any safety concerns you might have. Bring Your Own Bike & Helmet
Trailblazers Club | Wednesday, May 28th
This meeting of the Trailblazers Club, a youth advisory board for kids, by kids, will show members how to do basic bike maintanace and we will discuss summer club programs! If you are new to the club, please reach out to Amber before registering.
Doggy Walk and Talk | Saturday, May 17th
Bring your leashed pup and join us for a relaxed walk along the scenic dirt roads of Parkman Hill Farm. This casual meetup is perfect for dog lovers to connect, get some fresh air, and enjoy a low-key morning outdoors with fellow four-legged friends.
Somerset Outing Club: Martin Woods Farm Day | Saturday, May 10th
A family favorite for 3 years! And this year’s event should be no different, here is what we have planned for May 10th: Horse Back Riding, Hay Loft Fun & Fort Building, Seeds & Crafts, An in-depth Farm Tour, including farm animals and other uses for Maine’s natural resources & Even a FREE Lunch!
