Valentines Day Treat: Maple Snow Taffy

Join Skowhegan Outdoors at Lake George Regional Park (East) for an hour of maple taffy making fun! The program facilitators will lead the group in making maple taffy, which involves boiling maple syrup and pouring it on snow. Everyone will get to take home the maple taffy they make as well as the recipe. Maple taffy is the perfect Valentine’s Day treat to give to that special someone or enjoy yourself!

Please bring water, dress warmly, and wear a face mask. If needed, you will have the opportunity to request winter clothing ahead of time provided by the Skowhegan Outdoors Community Gear Library.
