New Moon Hike

Join Skowhegan Outdoors for a beginner-friendly new moon night hike! This hike/snowshoe will take place at Yankee Woodlot and is a little over 1 mile long. Throughout the hike we will stop to look at the stars. Without the light of the moon, the star viewing should be quite a sight! This trip is the perfect opportunity to safely experience hiking at night with a great group of people.

Please make sure to dress warmly, wear a face mask, winter boots and snowshoes or microspikes, and bring water and snacks. If needed, you will have the opportunity to request winter clothing and gear ahead of time provided by the Skowhegan Outdoors Community Gear Library.
