SUMMARY:Mt. Moxie Day Hike
DESCRIPTION:Moxie Mountain is named one of “New England’s 50 Finest\,” yet has still remained as a hidden gem of a hike in Maine. The trail is rated as challenging though rewarding at the peak with spectacular 360° views of rolling Appalachia and Heald Pond below (but you’ll just have to see for yourself). Come along with SAORP for a fun day out hiking with the community. Pack lunch\, water\, sunscreen\, a hat– and we’ll bring the snacks. We will meet at the MSS office at 7:30 a.m.\, check-in\, and then caravan to the trail head.
