We will enjoy a leisurely walk through the woods as we read through posted storyboards of How the Grinch Stole Christmas!\, by Dr. Seuss. If you are unable to attend the community event on Saturday\, December 5\, no worries\, we will keep the story walk set up through Sunday\, December 6. This program is for kiddos + their grownups. DESCRIPTION:Join Skowhegan Outdoors and representatives of Somerset Woods Trustees (SWT) for an early look at SWT’s next property acquisition.  We will tour a portion of the preliminary trail system through the woods along Wesserunsett Stream.  Participants should wear rugged footwear and be prepared for uneven terrain. She has a sick passion for sleeping in the snow. (We don’t understand it either). She will teach you the tips and tricks for keeping yourself cozy and comfortable in cold weather. We will cover topics of thermoregulation\, proper layering\, preventing cold-related injuries\, shelter building and much more. For this program we ask you to wear warm clothing and wear your face mask.
