On calm water\, you will get comfortable in a kayak and learn the fundamentals—outfitting and safety\, getting in and out\, the wet exit\, and basic paddle strokes—in a relaxed\, low-pressure setting. \nAll gear is provided and no experience is required. T1 is the entry point to the Skowhegan Outdoors whitewater progression that continues with the paid T2 (moving water) and T3 (river-ready) clinics. \nSuggested gear: a swimsuit\, a towel\, water shoes or sandals\, and a change of dry clothes (all paddling gear provided).
