Participants will be emailed about attendance two days prior to program. \nPreregister here: https://forms.gle/gDGZyTmfJqXyARdE8 \nJoin Skowhegan Outdoors at Coburn Park for a fun\, beginner clinic on an essential outdoor winter skill: building a snow and/or forest shelter! We will go over technique\, methods\, alternative forms of sheltering\, and then build our own.  \nWe will meet at the gazebo 15 minutes early for check in. Please dress warmly\, bring water and snacks\, and wear your face mask. The program facilitators will lead the group in making maple taffy\, which involves boiling maple syrup and pouring it on snow. Everyone will get to take home the maple taffy they make as well as the recipe. Maple taffy is the perfect Valentine’s Day treat to give to that special someone or enjoy yourself! \nPlease bring water\, dress warmly\, and wear a face mask.
