DESCRIPTION:When: Sunday\, April 25\, 2 – 4 p.m.\nWhere: Coburn Woods\nProgram Limit: 15 participants \nPlease preregister for this program here: https://forms.gle/c49Rf9ziLqBZsDFj9  \nJoin Skowhegan Outdoors as we leap into spring with an afternoon visit to the Coburn Woods vernal pool in Skowhegan. Hidden away in the woods\, this shallow pool is teeming with life in spring when frogs\, toads and salamanders travel through the leaf litter to breed and lay eggs in the fishless water. We will walk approx. one-half mile from the Russell Road trailhead to the pool\, where Somerset Woods Trustees’ executive director Jennifer Brockway will help us find and identify different critters.   \nPlease arrive 15 minutes early to check in.
